The article examines the role of innovation and technology in the formation and development of digital ecosystems from the point of view of strategic management. Key management solutions such as Big Data, artificial intelligence, API-first, cloud technologies, as well as low-code/no-code solutions that provide flexibility, scalability, and sustainability of digital platforms are considered. Examples of successful implementation of ecosystem strategies in the companies "Sber", "Yandex", "Amazon" and "Wildberries" are given. It is emphasized that innovation is not only a factor of growth and competitiveness, but also the core logic of the functioning of digital platforms, determining the dynamics of participant engagement, user experience and the sustainability of the business model. Innovation activity seems to be a key condition for survival and leadership in the context of digital transformation. Digital ecosystems are becoming a new form of business organization in the digital age. Their success directly depends on their ability to innovate technologically and strategically integrate innovations.
