The article examines the role of financial entrepreneurship as a key factor of economic growth and development in the context of rapid changes in the economy and the technological sphere. Financial entrepreneurship, which includes investment initiatives and financial risk management, is presented as an integral part of the modern economic system that ensures innovation, the creation of new market opportunities, as well as the mobilization and efficient allocation of financial resources. The research covers the historical development of financial entrepreneurship — from classical economics through the industrial revolution to the era of digitalization, with an emphasis on the most important challenges and trends of our time. Particular attention is paid to the impact of technological innovations such as the digitalization of financial services, fintech companies and blockchain, as well as the process of globalization, which opens up new international opportunities and at the same time complicates financial risk management. The article highlights the importance of the legislative and regulatory framework governing the activities of financial entrepreneurs. The roles of financial regulation, central banks, and supervisors are analyzed, which provides insight into the complex interrelationships between a financial initiative and the legal conditions that affect entrepreneurs' strategies and operations. The practical importance of financial entrepreneurship is illustrated by the example of large Russian banks — Sberbank, VTB and Alfa-Bank. A detailed analysis of their financial indicators, development strategies and innovation implementation is provided, which demonstrates the successful application of the principles of financial entrepreneurship and their impact on the Russian economy.
