The article is devoted to the aspects of the implementation of political measures to form the investment policy of the BRICS countries. In this regard, "green" growth, which ensures a balance between environmental and economic indicators, is becoming increasingly important. Based on this, this study analyzes the impact of foreign direct investment, financial development and financial globalization on "green" growth in the BRICS countries for the period from 1990 to 2024. To this end, we studied the impact of these factors on "green" growth using new scientific methods, as a result we found that the inflow of foreign direct investment has a positive effect on the formation of economic factors and the development of inter-municipal, environmental and international practices and interactions. The prerequisites and trends in the formation and strengthening of investment development factors are presented and analyzed. Terminological interpretations and regulatory and legal levers for strengthening the investment climate are considered. As a result, a generalization of the presented methods and indicators of investment assessment of the level of international development of the BRICS countries is carried out.
