This article examines the modern model of forest management in the People's Republic of China as an example of large-scale and targeted state intervention in the restoration and conservation of forest resources. The authors analyze the institutional structure, key programs, achievements, and challenges of China's forest policy. Special attention is given to the application of innovative technologies and social involvement of the population. A comparative analysis with international practices is conducted, identifying the opportunities and limitations of transferring China's experience to other countries. In conclusion, the authors formulate findings and directions for further research in the context of sustainable natural resource management and global environmental governance.
