In modern conditions, as budget financing at the federal level decreases and the financial insolvency of municipal budgets increases, funds from enterprises and organizations located on the territory of the municipality, as well as investors, act as the main source of investment financing. The most important task for the authorities in these conditions is to attract investments in promising industries that are important for the development of the economy of the municipality and the region. The article assesses the investment attractiveness of the municipal formation Berezovsky urban district of the Sverdlovsk region, identifies indicators of socio-economic development reflecting the state of the territory in terms of its investment attractiveness, and calculates integral indicators. Based on the analysis of the results obtained, conclusions are made about the current state of the investment attractiveness of the territory, which can be further used to solve management problems.
