The article examines the influence of geostrategic factors on the economic activity of regions in the context of modern globalization and geopolitical instability. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the mechanisms of the impact of geostrategic factors on the economic activity of regions, as well as to develop methodological approaches to assessing their impact. The author has carried out a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between geographical location, geopolitical risks, transport and logistics infrastructure and economic indicators of regional economies. Based on econometric modeling, the key determinants determining the influence of geostrategic factors on economic activity have been identified. The results of the study show that geostrategic factors have a significant impact on investment attractiveness, trade flows and innovative development of regions. The practical significance of the work lies in the development of methodological approaches to assessing geostrategic risks and opportunities to increase the competitiveness of regional economies.
