Export potential of Azerbaijan in the context of developing a competitive agricultural sector
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article systematically examines the prospects for foreign economic development of the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan. In modern geo-economic conditions, the country's access to international agricultural markets is of strategic importance and plays an important role in diversifying the non-oil sector. The purpose of the study is to analyze the export potential of the agricultural sector, identify the main obstacles and put forward development directions. The study shows that weak organization of international certification, insufficient logistics infrastructure and inefficient organization of production reduce the competitiveness of agricultural products. At the same time, the creation of regional transport corridors, export-oriented clusters and the use of digital solutions open up new opportunities for this sector. The study has relevant scientific and practical significance in terms of forming an export-oriented structure of Azerbaijan's agriculture and ensuring its sustainable participation in international markets.
