The relevance of the topic is due to the need to find effective methods for assessing and managing financial risks to ensure sustainable business development. Every day, entrepreneurs face a sufficient number of financial risks that affect liquidity, financial stability, business reputation and the success of doing business in general. In such conditions the key role is given to instruments and methods of qualitative assessment of financial risks. The practical experience of assessment is based on expert opinion for effective management and is carried out using information technology; it allows automating the process of collecting the necessary data, applying mathematical models and algorithms for analyzing financial risks, as well as organizing the results in a convenient format. Inefficient management of financial risks leads to a deterioration in the financial condition of entrepreneurial activity, as well as to financial losses and other adverse financial consequences.
