One of the primary tasks of the Eurasian Union is to ensure energy security of the union countries. The article examines the trends in the energy independence indicator of the main EAEU member states and the features of the trends in the context of active integration processes. The influence of explanatory factors on the dynamics of the energy independence index is revealed. The indicators of process stability, interrelation of factors with each other, elasticity of the dependent indicator for each independent factor are determined. A comparative analysis of the energy independence models of the studied countries is presented in the format of time series and in the form of multifactor models. The adequacy of each model is determined and the modeling results are interpreted.
