Seasonality Management in Tourist Flows: Bundles, Events, and Loading

Abstract (English):
The article examines seasonality management as a destination-level financial and operational system. It shows how uncoupled demand forecasting, transport, accommodation and facility capacity orchestration, and bundle and event calendar design translate into RevPAR (revenue per available room) and GOPPAR (gross profit per available room) growth. Demand tolerance rules are proposed — LOS (length of stay), CTA/CTD (closed arrival/departure date), probability overbooking — and channel discipline with fences and price parity. The role of RMS (revenue management system) and DMO (destination management organization) in causal decision validation (geo-A/B, difference-in-differences) and operational coordination of wave banks is emphasized. The practical conclusion: peaks are monetized without overheating the infrastructure, the off-season is filled with packages and events, and the portfolio of measures steadily increases margins and the quality of the guest experience. Metrics and process discipline make the effect repeatable and visible in reports.
