Development of an agro-industrial clusters based on the principles of a circular economy as one of the directions of its transformation in the context of achieving national development goals

Abstract (English):
This article examines the development of an agro-industrial cluster in the context of its transformation in line with the national goal of «Environmental Well-Being». The paper examines the concepts of a circular economy and ecodesign in an agro-industrial cluster from the perspective of a transition to permaculture. Circular economy concepts reflecting the ideas of sustainable development of the cluster and the agro-industrial complex are systematized. Parameters for assessing eco-aspects in the life cycle of product production are characterized. An example of the development of a Russian agro-industrial cluster effectively utilizing nature-based technologies is presented. A conclusion is drawn regarding the need to form and develop agro-industrial clusters based on eco-thinking in the context of achieving the country's national development goals.
