The current development of the domestic agro-industrial complex within the framework of Industry 5.0 presupposes the integration of advanced technologies to improve efficiency, sustainability, and innovation. The strategic focus of this process is the creation of a sustainable, technologically advanced, and competitive agricultural sector capable of responding to global challenges related to the geopolitical situation, global market fluctuations, climate change, population growth, and resource scarcity. Actively implementing innovations in the agro-industrial complex requires the consolidation of efforts by the government, academics, and business communities. This paper presents a structured approach to implementing an innovative development strategy for Russia's agro-industrial complex, based on a synthesis of the evolutionary process of innovation development and modern trends in digital transformation in the agro-industrial complex.
