The article discusses the theoretical and practical aspects of the use of benchmarking in small logistics businesses in Russia and China. The relevance of the research is due to the growing role of small enterprises in ensuring the sustainability of regional logistics systems and the need to increase their efficiency and competitiveness in the face of global competition and digital transformation. The purpose of the work is to conduct a comparative analysis of tools, methods and features of benchmarking implementation in small logistics companies of the two countries. The study identified key similarities and differences due to national policies, the level of digitalization, the availability of industry data, and the nature of government support. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of benchmarking to the resource constraints of small businesses and the possibilities of its integration into modern management practices.
