This article is devoted to a comprehensive scientific study of the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for a deep transformation of the economic foundations and organizational principles of the health care system in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (RSO-Alania). The main objective of the work is to conduct a multifaceted analysis covering both potential positive economic effects (including increased operational efficiency, structural cost optimization and increased medical productivity) and systemic barriers arising from the implementation of AI solutions in key clinical and administrative and managerial areas: instrumental and radiation diagnostics, material and human resources management, as well as the development of the concept of personalized medicine. The methodological basis of the study is based on the synthesis of theoretical methods, including the analysis of the impact of AI at the micro, meso-and macro levels of the health economy, and the empirical component represented by a sociological survey of relevant stakeholders (managers, clinicians, IT specialists) to identify practical limitations, quantitative cost parameters and subjective factors of perception of technological innovations. The results obtained allow the authors to formulate scientifically based practical recommendations on the strategy of phased integration of AI solutions into the regional health care system. These recommendations are aimed at ensuring long-term economic feasibility, maximizing the positive potential of technologies and minimizing the associated financial, organizational and social risks.
