Artificial intelligence in the healthcare system of the North Caucasus federal district
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
In this article, we examined the readiness of doctors to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the healthcare system of the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD). Interest in the topic is driven by the growing need to improve the quality of medical care and management processes in healthcare organizations. The main focus was on how doctors assess the effectiveness of AI in healthcare, what factors influence its use in practice, and what expectations they have for the new technology. To obtain an objective picture of the attitudes of specialists, a survey was conducted among doctors and department heads. Statistical analysis was performed based on the data obtained. The results showed a noticeable interest in AI on the part of specialists, while also pointing to the inadequacy of the technical base and the need for staff training. Conclusions were made about the need to develop technical infrastructure, increase the level of knowledge in working with AI technology, develop regulatory and legal acts, and further improve digitalization in the healthcare sector of the North Caucasus Federal District.
