This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the structural organization and operational mechanisms of Colombia's shadow oil and gas industry in the context of modern geopolitical and economic realities. The work implements a multi-level methodological approach combining an institutional analysis of symbiotic relationships between state and criminal structures with a study of transnational logistics chains of energy re-export. Special emphasis is placed on identifying patterns of criminal consolidation in the oil and gas sector, which made it possible to identify systemic threats to national economic security. The analytical framework examines the determinants of institutional hybridization, the mechanisms of financial flows of shadow operations, as well as strategies for adapting illegal armed groups to changing external conditions. The final conceptual block of work focuses on developing scenario forecasts for the development of the shadow sector and justifying the need to apply targeted impact strategies to disrupt the criminal architecture.
