Currently, the investment activity of Russian insurance organizations is in the growth phase, as evidenced by the dynamic growth of assets, net profit, and the profitability of insurers' assets. The investment potential of the insurance sector is becoming one of the points of economic growth in the country, as a significant part of the assets is placed on the financial market. This article explores the conceptual framework of the investment potential of insurance organizations, evaluates it, and analyzes the factors that influence its value based on current financial instruments. This will allow for a more comprehensive approach to identifying the opportunities of the insurance market, as well as to develop practical recommendations for improving the investment operations of insurers.
