In today's globalized world, foreign direct investment (FDI) plays a key role in shaping economic growth and structural changes in national economies. Understanding the relationship between foreign investment flows and macroeconomic indicators such as gross domestic product (GDP) is particularly important. The United States and China, which are the largest economic centers in the world, demonstrate significantly different models of attracting and using foreign investment, which necessitates a comparative analysis of their impact on economic dynamics. The study of such interaction allows not only to identify the features of the economic policies of these countries, but also to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of investment strategies in the context of global economic changes. The relevance of this topic is due to the increasing role of foreign investment in the context of global economic challenges such as the economic downturn, trade wars and pandemics. Analyzing the correlation between FDI and GDP in the United States and China will help to understand how investment flows affect economic growth in the two largest economies in the world, which is important for developing effective strategies to stimulate national economies and attract investment. In addition, the results of the study can be useful for investors, policy makers, and scientists involved in international economics and economic development strategies.
