Abstract:
This work is devoted to the study of the evolutionary development of customs checkpoints, which have evolved from simple control bodies to comprehensive logistics centers. It explores how modern terminal infrastructure contributes to improving commercial processes in international trade. The focus is on reducing time and financial costs for foreign economic entities, implementing digital cargo management systems, and the role of "smart" terminals in ensuring the openness and reliability of cross-border transportation. It is argued that improving customs and logistics infrastructure is crucial for enhancing the competitiveness of a nation's economy on a global scale.
