This article examines the economic efficiency of using digital twin technologies in planning experimental research in construction. An analysis is made of the impact of digital twins on cost reduction, increased accuracy in predicting experimental results, and optimization of organizational and technological processes. A methodology for assessing the economic impact of implementing digital twins is proposed based on a comparison of traditional and digital methods for planning tests of building structures. An experimental program for thermal engineering studies of façade systems was simulated using a digital twin. The results of the study demonstrate a reduction in the labor intensity of experiment preparation, a reduction in the number of repeat tests, and an increase in the reliability of experimental data. The findings confirm the potential of using digital twins as a tool for improving the efficiency of scientific research and construction.
