Development of a comprehensive index for assessing the financial condition of companies
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
This study is devoted to the development and testing of an innovative microeconomic index aimed at a comprehensive assessment of the financial stability of companies in the context of global economic turbulence. The paper proposes an original methodology based on a multidimensional comparative analysis of a system of interrelated indicators, including operating cash flow, capital investments and labor productivity, demonstrating increased resistance to falsification. Empirical verification was carried out on a representative sample of technology corporations (Apple Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Amazon.com Inc., Alphabet Inc.) for the 2018-2023 time interval, which revealed the strategic divergence of their financial models. The results obtained indicate the high discriminant ability of the developed index, which allows not only minimizing investment risks during operations on stock exchanges, but also forming the basis for predictive modeling of the long-term development of corporate structures. The practical significance of the research lies in the creation of tools for verifying financial stability and optimizing corporate governance strategies.
