Digital Technologies in the Agro-Industrial Complex: New Prospects and Opportunities for the Food Industry Sector

Abstract:
In the conditions of economic instability caused by crisis phenomena, the achievement of sustainable development of enterprises becomes possible exclusively through the integration of advanced digital technologies. What is especially relevant for food industry enterprises, where the speed of decision-making and the quality of information support are critical factors that determine the profitability and competitiveness of the company. This article analyzes the prospects for the development of the food industry in the context of the introduction of digital technologies (digital twins, robotization, etc.), as well as the most popular digital solutions, taking into account regulatory documents (the Digital Agriculture program approved by the government of the Russian Federation), which contribute to the competitiveness and sustainable growth of enterprises.
