Qualitative and quantitative methods for studying social satisfaction among the population

Abstract:
The article discusses qualitative and quantitative research methods, research mechanisms, the choice of methodology, the application of these methods, and provides a detailed review of theoretical concepts of social satisfaction, including modern models for measuring it and the main methodological approaches. Attention will be paid to describing the characteristics of qualitative methods, such as in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, as well as quantitative methods, such as questionnaires, telephone surveys, computer-assisted telephone interviews, online surveys, SMS and MMS surveys, experiments, and statistical analysis. This will help to understand the advantages and limitations of each approach. The study concludes that qualitative and quantitative approaches are complementary, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive approach to assessing public opinion.
