Abstract:
Any enterprise, including those in the tourism sector, inevitably faces risks, defined as undesirable events that lead to unfavorable outcomes for the company. Tourism companies face a wide variety of risks arising in economic, financial, political, legal, social, environmental and other areas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept and types of economic and environmental risks in tourism. The study concludes that this type of risk is particularly serious in the tourism industry, and therefore companies should pay particular attention to it. It has been determined that environmental risks in tourism can be of both natural and anthropogenic origin, and the damage from them can be both direct and indirect.
