Digital transformation encompasses the integration of digital technologies into all areas of business and society. The ways of doing business, providing services, building relationships with clients are changing. Organizations are rethinking and restructuring their processes, including corporate culture, product lines in order to harness the potential of digital innovation and respond in a timely manner to dynamic market demands. The article analyzes the impact of digital transformation on socio-economic systems. Mechanisms through which technological innovations change the trajectory of economic development are considered. Examples of effective digital strategies from various industries and regions are given. The challenges and prospects of digitalization are touched upon, recommendations are formulated for the development of the digital economy. The authors conclude that digital transformation contributes significantly to sustainable economic growth.
