The article examines the statistical relationship between the level of digital infrastructure development and indicators of innovation activity and labor productivity across the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2016–2024. The empirical base is formed using official data from Rosstat. The level of digital infrastructure is measured by the share of organizations with Internet access, taking into account a one-year lag (t–1). The outcome indicators include the innovation activity of organizations and labor productivity (gross regional product per employed person). The study applies descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and a comparative analysis of regional groups with different levels of digitalization (based on the median value of the indicator). The results indicate a stable positive statistical association between digitalization and the analyzed economic indicators at the regional level. The findings are interpreted as statistical relationships and do not imply causal effects.
