The present study is devoted to the study of the features of the formation of models and methods of sensitivity analysis as the main factors influencing the cost of an investment project. As part of the study, the authors conducted a review of the scientific literature on the research topic and identified problem areas of existing models and approaches. The identification of the main cost factors specific to the project for the modernization of the enterprise's information system has been carried out. The result of the research was the construction of a financial model of the project and the subsequent analysis of the sensitivity of the project's performance indicators. Further, the authors interpreted the results obtained and identified "bottlenecks" that could have a significant impact on the outcome of the proposed project, which served as the basis for the formation of recommendations on risk management of changing factors.
