The demand for ensuring the financial stability of the cooperative sector of the Voronezh Region is based on the need to attract financial instruments that can reduce the growth of the debt burden. The assessment of the economic efficiency of 11 agricultural consumer cooperatives in the Voronezh Region, which are recipients of state support measures in 2024, reflects significant contradictions in the growth of revenue by 2.6 times and the mutual fund by 56.2%, with an increase in external borrowings by 3.2 times. The high debt burden ratio is expressed in the dependence of the borrowed capital in relation to the mutual fund, which has reached a value of 0.957. The solution to these contradictions is possible through an investment mechanism involving the acquisition of necessary equipment by the wholesaler and its transfer to the cooperative for long-term use with the transfer of further ownership rights and the condition for fulfilling the obligations arising for the supply of products at a discount of 15%. The calculations performed showed the effectiveness of this method of reducing the debt burden ratio by 24% (to a value of 0.727), which will ensure an increase in the mutual fund by 33 million rubles. due to the cumulative revenue growth of 228.8 million rubles over 5 years.
