The article explores organizational mediation as an effective tool for conflict management in a corporate environment. It emphasizes the role of corporate culture in business process efficiency and the consequences of its shortcomings including conflicts that lead to financial losses. The main focus is on the technology of organizational mediation: an alternative dispute resolution method involving a neutral third party (a mediator). The study examines types of mediation, such as corporate disputes, partnership (ownership) mediation, and corporate labour dispute mediation. The structure of a mediation service, as well as the functions and limitations of a corporate mediator’s role, are described. The key stages of the mediation process (from preparation to agreement) and essential techniques paraphrasing, “emotional venting”, and reality checking of ideas are briefly outlined. Additionally, the Process Communication Model (PCM) by Taibi Kahler is presented, featuring six psychological profiles (the Logical, the Steadfast, the Empathic, the Rebel, the Dreamer, and the Doer) to facilitate effective interaction. The author highlights the advantages of mediation over litigation: time and resource savings, preservation of business relationships, confidentiality, and flexibility. Conclusion: organizational mediation not only resolves conflicts but also prevents them, strengthening corporate culture and improving business process efficiency.
