The article examines the transformational role of big data and analytics in shaping national economic strategies in the digital economy. Based on the analysis of the international experience of China (statistical accounting system reform with the inclusion of GST data and UPI transactions), the United Arab Emirates (creation of an integrated national economic data system), Mauritius (integration of open data and big data initiatives into the budget process), as well as theoretical approaches to data-centric decision-making, data transformation mechanisms are considered. into strategic assets. Special attention is paid to the synchronization of statistical systems with the needs of public policy, the creation of national procurement and data management systems, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence technologies and predictive analytics into strategic planning processes. Based on empirical data, two tables are presented that characterize international practices of integrating data into economic policy and key areas of national data management strategies. The conclusion is made about the formation of a new paradigm of public administration, where data does not act as an after-the-fact statement, but as an active tool for forecasting, proactive policy and economic diplomacy.
