The article examines the role of public and private investments in stimulating the innovative development of regions in the context of transformations of the domestic economy. The analysis includes consideration of government programs, subsidies, as well as examples of successful public-private partnerships (PPPs) supporting innovative initiatives through the creation of science parks, research centers and educational institutions. The author pays special attention to the structure of innovation potential, including resources, support and results, and legal aspects that solve the problem of successful innovation development. Private investment plays an important role in developing the innovative potential of regions, contributing to integration into global innovation networks and increasing competitiveness. The article also analyzes the current situation in the PPP market, including record investment volumes and risks of increasing the cost of projects. In conclusion, the author emphasizes the importance of synergy between public and private investments to create a sustainable innovation ecosystem. Effective cooperation between government agencies and private investors contributes to improving the business climate, attracts additional investments and strengthens the economic development of regions, increasing their competitiveness in the global market. The aim of the study is to consider the impact of government support and private investments in stimulating the development of the innovative potential of the regions, which causes economic growth, job creation and improvement of the quality of life of the population of the regions.
