The article examines the transformational processes of human capital development under the influence of the digital economy and artificial intelligence technologies. Based on an analysis of international experience, including data from ManpowerGroup (39,063 employers in 41 countries), an IDC study on global skills shortages, as well as Russian practice (Yandex Practicum, Mininsky University), key challenges and strategies for the development of human capital are considered. Special attention is paid to the problem of digital skill bias - the distortion of human capital under the influence of digital technologies, as well as the phenomenon of the "shift from real to virtual" in the corporate sector. Based on empirical data, three tables are presented that characterize the global skills deficit, skills for the green-digital transition, and the distortion of human capital during digital transformation. It is concluded that it is necessary to switch to a model of continuing education and integrate soft skills with digital competencies.
