The article is devoted to the experience of planning gardens on the territory of the fruit station belonging to the Timiryazev Academy. Based on an existing garden in a picturesque landscape style, the efforts of teachers and students of the Department of Landscape Architecture are working on the design of two other adjacent garden plots. The concept of a regular garden is considered, demonstrating decorative plantings (shrubs, flowers) and a modern-style garden with geoplastic models. The purpose of the article is to analyze the projected territory in the compositional interrelation of all elements, starting from the location, the opening points of outlook on the surrounding space and ending with decorative accents of colors, small architectural forms. An important quality is the idea of forming a holistic integrated space used for educational purposes, demonstrating a new look at landscape design. The relevance of the article lies in two aspects: the first reflects the interest of modern society in park construction and the development of garden art. The second one has aesthetic and pedagogical significance. Gardens are conceived as an experimental experimental base for students of landscape architecture, also evaluated from an aesthetic standpoint. The method of visual design fixation and the comparative analytical method allows you to see the full range of solutions and innovative stylistic approaches.
