Small commercial enterprises development paths in the context of the trade industry modern changes

Abstract (English):
The paper examines the main trends in the modern development of the trade industry, as well as the difficulties faced by small commercial enterprises. Particular attention is paid to the aspects of integration of various sectors of the national economy and the impact of the consequences of this integration on the modern development of trade. The paper formulates a number of problems of small enterprises focused on trade that require solutions, in particular, the impossibility of attracting a sufficient number of buyers, the complexity of expanding the product range matrix, etc. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the functioning of small trade enterprises and the impact of expanding electronic trading platforms on their activities. As a solution to the formulated problem, it is proposed to integrate small businesses of traditional trade into the activities of electronic trading platforms existing in the domestic consumer market. The work is of practical interest to specialists involved in the retail trade of small towns, the purpose of whose activities is the sustainable development of small trade enterprises, mainly non-food products: furniture, dishes, clothing, etc.
