This research paper examines the changes in the regional economy under the influence of the pharmaceutical industry, in particular, the Krasnodar Territory. Here are the results of an analysis of the sale of certain drugs from the field of veterinary and human medicine. In addition, the issues of the sale of medicines are being investigated, or rather, the economic feasibility of using 5 drugs (famotidine, omeprazole, amoxiclav, ceftriaxone and analgin). Here are the results of calculations of the cost of their sales and the contribution of these finances to the budget of the region. The work is based on articles by other authors studying the economy of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as the results of the use of five drugs in the practice of medical institutions. The result of the work will be relevant for specialists from the field of economics. It can become the basis for a more detailed scientific study.
