The relevance of the research is determined by the role of business activity in the performance of business entities. Being a complex complex concept, it affects all spheres of activity of an economic entity and reflects its capabilities and aspirations to carry out its activities. The approaches presented in the research focus on the study of business activity as a business environment, or as performance indicators of a particular enterprise. The purpose of the study is to assess the level of business activity of enterprises in the construction sector at the national level, the Siberian Federal District and a single enterprise. Both theoretical research methods and practical research methods (elimination method, coefficient analysis) are used. The information base includes research publications and data from the Federal State Statistics Service for the years 2022-2025, which ensures the reliability of the findings. The business activity of the construction industry in the country as a whole is characterized by a persistent negative index of business confidence and an overestimation of factors that limit construction development, with taxation and the cost of materials leading the way. The situation in the regions of the Siberian Federal District differs from that of other federal districts and is subject to significant fluctuations around the average value, ranging from a positive assessment of the index of business confidence in construction activities to a maximum negative value. At the same time, business activity is affected by the seasonal factor.
