The modern non-production sector includes the vast majority of organizations in the national economy. It employs the majority of the working-age population and generates a significant portion of the gross national income. The activities of the sectors within this sector are directly related to meeting the economic needs for non-material products and services. The non-production sector encompasses trade and other services for the population, education, healthcare, culture and the arts, science and scientific services, physical culture and sports, social security, and more. With the increasing prevalence of the service sector in today's world, there is a need to improve efficiency and logistics. The study presents the basic principles of purchasing logistics in the non-production sector and assesses its effectiveness.
