The article deals with new trends in economic cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and China, driven by the ongoing US trade war against China and the growing sanctions pressure of the collective West on Belarus and Russia. The potential for expanding partnerships through the implementation of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union and China is examined. Opportunities for the phased development of interregional cooperation between Eurasian states through the implementation of Russia's "Greater Eurasian Partnership" initiative and China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative are identified. It is concluded that a new architecture for interstate economic interaction between the Eurasian Economic Union and China is currently being formed, based on the international division of labor and international cooperation
