Developing a Digital Development Strategy for a Retail Enterprise in the Current Context

Abstract (English):
Objective: Retail trade is an important part of the national economy, as it ensures the delivery of goods from the manufacturer to the end consumer. Retailers are essential elements of the economy, as without them, difficulties in purchasing goods would arise. Retail trade is constantly evolving, as new methods of selling goods and new approaches to organizing retail stores are emerging. Consumer preferences regarding product characteristics and appearance are also constantly changing, as are preferences that affect purchasing methods. New technologies, which can be used to automate and robotize retail operations, are also a significant factor driving changes in retail operations. One such factor associated with the implementation of technology is the digitalization of the economy, which is gradually transforming the retail industry. This article proposes a plan for developing a digital development strategy for a retail enterprise, which will enhance its competitiveness. Creating a digitalization strategy is an important part of a company's development, as it helps enhance its competitiveness. Methods: Analysis of articles devoted to the digitalization of retail. Study of modern digital solutions in the fields of digital marketing, HR management, supply chain management, and inventory management. Conclusions: Retail is a highly dynamic industry that is constantly influenced by external factors. One such factor is digitalization. The use of digital technologies in retail operations is a key factor in competitiveness. The implementation of digital technologies in retail operations allows for cost reduction and profit increase.
