Innovative management model of digital transformation of a shipping company's activities
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
In the context of global competition and dynamic economic development, digital transformation is becoming a strategic imperative for shipping companies. This study is devoted to the systematization of the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of digital transformation in the marine industry. The unique features of the management of shipping companies (global nature of activities, high capital intensity, complexity of logistics chains, strict regulation) are presented. The study analyzes innovative models and technologies of digitalization, such as the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital twins, and examines key areas and stages of implementation of digital solutions. An innovative management model has been proposed, based on the principles of customer-centricity, end-to-end data integration, continuous innovation, predictive analytics, cybersecurity, digital competency development, ecosystem thinking, modularity, and scalability. The central element of the model is the architecture of an integrated digital platform that encompasses fleet management, cargo operations, finance, personnel, and customer engagement, as well as a powerful analytics subsystem. The developed model aims to help shipping companies achieve digital maturity, optimize business processes, and effectively respond to market challenges
