In the context of a rapidly changing labor market and increasing demands for interpersonal and adaptive competencies, the development of soft skills has become an integral part of undergraduate education. This article explores the essence of soft skills as a set of universal competencies, including communication, cognitive, and behavioral skills, such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence, teamwork, leadership, time management, and stress resilience. It also examines effective pedagogical approaches for their development, such as active and interactive learning methods, project-based learning, interdisciplinary courses, hands-on activities, and reflective practices. Special attention is paid to the need to integrate soft skills into the main content of educational programs, rather than teaching them in isolation. It is emphasized that successful development of soft skills is possible only if a supportive educational environment is created that focuses on personal development rather than just
