The innovative activity of the region in the context of digitalization reflects the level of development of the regional economy within the framework of innovative activities using digital technologies to increase the technological level of economic entities. The study proved that there are basic approaches to managing innovative activity, levers of influence on the innovative activity of the region are being developed using digitalization tools. Factors for increasing innovation activity for a particular region are strictly individual. The development of the region's innovation activity in the context of digitalization ensures the creation of new business models in various sectors of the economy, increasing the region's competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets, increasing the economic security of the region by releasing new products and important technologies in order to ensure import substitution under sanctions. The above points confirm the need to use digital technologies to develop the region's innovation activity.
