Statistical analysis of the educational level of the population of the Russian Federation

Abstract:
The educational level of the Russian population is demonstrating positive trends, but its sustainability and future quality will directly depend on a balanced government policy aimed at simultaneously increasing the accessibility, quality, and practical relevance of knowledge at all levels of the educational system. Education has been established as a system-forming element of human capital, which, in turn, is the main driver of economic growth, social progress, and the country's competitiveness in the modern world. The objective need for regular statistical monitoring of the population's educational level has been substantiated for making informed management decisions, strategic planning, reducing social inequality, and improving the quality of life. The statistical analysis confirmed the importance of education as a strategic asset for national development. This allowed us to move from stating facts to identifying underlying patterns. It has been established that the growth of educational attainment in Russia is the result of a complex interaction between government financial investments, the quality of the school system, structural shifts in settlement patterns, and household social strategies (in particular, the increased educational activity of women).
