Managing the development of organizational culture in a distributed team environment

Abstract:
In the context of digitalization and the transition of companies to a distributed work model, the issues of formation and development of organizational culture are becoming strategically important. Unlike traditional office formats, distributed teams are devoid of physical space, symbolic artifacts, and constant interpersonal interaction, which creates new challenges for managing corporate identity and values. The purpose of the study is to analyze the key problems of organizational culture development in distributed IT teams and to develop tools for its targeted management. The paper presents the results of a theoretical analysis, systematizes the risks of a remote format, and proposes an author's model of cultural development in distributed teams based on digital communication practices, Agile approaches, and analytical diagnostic methods. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the proposed toolkit for IT companies using remote or hybrid employment formats.
