This article examines current trends in the development of human resources management (HRM) in Russian universities amid the digital transformation of higher education. It analyzes key innovative approaches, their role in enhancing the competitiveness of university systems, and practical cases of implementing digital tools in human resource management. A review of existing theoretical models and modern strategies for transforming HR policies in the digital economy is provided. Conclusions are drawn regarding the need to develop flexible, adaptive, and data-driven HR systems capable of ensuring the sustainable development of universities in a changing environment. Recommendations are offered for the further development of innovative management practices in Russian higher education institutions, taking into account global digitalization trends.
