Artificial intelligence in project management: implementation experience and prospects

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the transformation of project management under the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, due to the increasing demands on the speed, quality and adaptability of project activities in the digital economy. The purpose of the study is to trace the evolution of the use of artificial intelligence in project management, classify modern AI tools and identify their impact on the functions and roles of project team members. The methodological basis consists of an analysis of scientific publications and regulatory documents, a comparative analysis of the functionality of AI platforms, as well as a generalization of practical cases of using artificial intelligence in the design and business activities of Russian and foreign companies. The study systematized the main groups of AI tools (integrated project management platforms, predictive analytics and data visualization systems, specialized systems), identified their key advantages and limitations. It is shown that the introduction of artificial intelligence increases the efficiency and quality of project management, enhances the analytical and communication capabilities of the team, but generates organizational, ethical and behavioral risks that require the development of new competencies of project managers.
