The directions of improving the management of a project group are presented through personnel planning, staffing of groups, selection of a model of group interaction, organizational and psychological impact, motivation and stimulation, training and development of participants. Staffing is based on a plan, including criteria, methods, and recommendations for selecting candidates. An important aspect of staffing is the development of automated systems and the use of various digital resources (project management information systems, data analysis systems, etc.). The search for digital resources from Russian developers is an urgent need. Domestic digital resources are reviewed through tools and successful cases of their implementation, various examples of software and technologies. The benefits of using digital resources are obvious, but their implementation faces challenges.
