The article considers the main problems hindering the investment development of the agricultural production infrastructure of the Perm Region. The production infrastructure is the main element of the effective development of the industry, ensuring the necessary level of food security, including in the context of the implementation of import substitution programs. The period of the liberal economy in the 1990s led the agricultural infrastructure to a serious decline, not only were there no programs to support the agro-industrial sector, but also some agricultural enterprises were liquidated. Over the past few years, the development of agriculture has also been negatively affected by Western economic sanctions, in which agricultural producers are forced to look for replacements for imported equipment or components, which also requires investments and the search for financial sources to ensure uninterrupted production of agricultural products.
