The development and implementation of innovative technologies plays a key role in the modern shipping business. This not only helps organizations to reduce costs, but also allows them to comply with international environmental standards, which is especially important in the context of stricter regulatory standards. Innovation not only helps to reduce costs, but also opens up new opportunities for global cooperation and competition in the international arena. The article examines the strategies of competitiveness of shipping companies, which are inextricably linked with digitalization and innovative approaches. In addition, an overview of innovative technologies in the activities of shipping companies was conducted. Conclusions are drawn on the topic of the study.
