The article is devoted to the analysis of the application of building information modeling (BIM) technologies in the management of construction projects. The main stages of using BIM at all stages of the building's life cycle are considered, from design to operation and disposal. BIM technologies demonstrate advantages in improving coordination between participants, minimizing errors, optimizing resource costs, and reducing construction time. Special attention is paid to the main components of BIM, the advantages of integration with other digital tools, as well as the challenges associated with implementation, including financial costs, a shortage of specialists and software compatibility issues. Despite the existing difficulties, the prospects for further development of BIM involve increasing the efficiency and sustainability of the construction industry through active cooperation between the professional community, educational institutions and government agencies.
